Bare in mind, because this is a digital copy of the game the is no distribution, steam gets their cut but if this game DOES sell well, it's minimal, so compared to the 90s-00s, companies now make more bank, and profits only go up for them.Автор сообщения: Mr VanaFirst this game loves RAM and VRAM. Thus goes back into the cycle of "Budget - employees get paid - make game - move on" the profits they make from sales is mostly for predicted budget for the next game. These aren't live service games, when this game releases or even when they are doing QC (if game companies even do that anymore) they move onto the next project. Remember Deus ex: MD? Remember Middle earth: SoW? Or y'know, any ubisoft game in the last 5 years? All of that was optional yes, but to you it is necessary to "Pay" the workers. The difference here with this game and Fortnite is that this game is designed to be a single player game. Yes I don't need to buy Goku in Fortnite, but little Billy and other obsessive people feel they do NEED Goku in Fortnite and will spend, then I don't know a gundam comes out, then little Billy spends more. You do realise that the budget for the game IS to pay the workers too? I am not obligated to support optional cosmetic, that, ultimately are predatory in every game they are in. Games used to be a full package yes mate in the 90's, which tells me you are a disgruntled 30 to 40 year old or you have just read up on all this crap and you are a youngster just jumping on the bandwagon, games have changed and so have the expectations of the people that put the big bux down for developing games, what is your favourite game by the way ?. Its sounds like what you want from this game. Most AAA games are just shops with a game add on. Cosmetics were a reward for completing challenges so they meant something.
